Grooming
GROOMING: We opened our grooming shop in 1986, as an adjunct
service to the kennel. Today 20 years later we have a busy
grooming business. We provide all breed pet grooming, clipping
and bathing. Flea prevention and control is something we can
definitely help with. Medicated baths as prescribed by your
Veterinarian can easily be arranged. De-skunking and other
grooming services can be arranged on an emergency basis.
Noel Saunders, a 1992 graduate Of the Nash Academy of Grooming is in charge of our grooming service. This experienced dog groomer brings her many talents to our salon. Whatever needs doing for a particular canine customer, Noel can make that happen.
Noel also possesses the temperament to be a dog groomer- She is patient, gentle, and kind to her 4 legged customers. After 17 years she still enjoys dogs, and is very much a “dog person”. Noel lives locally, and is a mom, and wife. The family shares their home with 2 Jack Russell’s, and a Belgian Teruvian.
Grooming can be combined with your pets boarding stay or it can
be arranged by appointment. All clipping breeds are so named
because they require CLIPPING. These breeds do best with grooming
appointments scheduled every 6 to 8 weeks.
GROOMING SPECIFICS- Complete brush/and or clip, nails trimmed, when dog allows, and teeth brushing. Individual needs such as special soaks or rinses provided for additional fee.
Large dogs- start at $45.
Clipping Dogs –start at $35.
General Estimates- Golden Retrievers- $45 and up. Labs -$40 and up. Ger Shep -$50 and up Rotties-$45 and up.
Price is determined by condition of dog, size of dog, and health of dog. All grooming customers will provide proof of Rabies vaccination.
