Doggie Day Care

DOGGIE DAY CARE is exactly what the name says - a day care program for dogs.

This day program allows owners the opportunity to have their dogs socialized, exercised and taken care of on a temporary basis while they are away. Our Day Care program is ending its 8th year. With every passing year we have brought new ideas and activities to the program. We now have 3 large fenced in play yards complete with interactive toys like tunnels, jumps, sandboxes, and wadding pools. Check out our photos and you will see that the pups do enjoy romping and racing through and over these toys.

For our free play periods we divide the pups up according to size, gender and personality. We have NEVER even had so much as a squabble among our attendees. This is due to how careful we are at accepting pups/dogs for this program. We want all of our participants to have fun and to be safe. We want them to learn to interact with their peers and with humans.

In our screening process if we decide that a new dog is not suitable for the daycare program, we can still accept them as training dogs for the day. In this way we can still care for them on a daily basis, and meet their human socialization needs. So- while the DAY CARE PROGRAM is not for every dog- it is a wonderful program for social companion animals- and that description fits most of our clients.

A program such as ours offers unlimited opportunities for socialization, confidence building and just plain K-9 fun. Since dogs are pack animals most of them thrive on pack experiences. Our regular participants seem to recognize each other and become visibly excited upon entering the property and seeing each other.

As the saying goes a picture is worth a thousand words......Our daycare dogs enjoy the romps in our fenced 5 acre field. They enjoy each other's company, and they enjoy the freedom to be dogs.
