	This is Bear at our cabin upstate NY. Without the collar Bear wouldn't be able to have all this fun. Being a Border collie bear chases everything (deer, snowmobiles, rabbit) but now he doesn't have to be on a leash. He loves to be lose and with the collar on he can do this. We have 2 English Springer Spaniels, Christopher-aged 3 and Alice who is 7and a half.

We love them very very much. They are both retired show dogs that we acquired once their show careers ended. They are wonderful companions, except for the problems we had with pulling on the leash, and also we were afraid to let them loose to exercise in case they did not come right back to us.

We live in the mountains and wanted the dogs to be able to run freely, but we needed to be sure we could control them. Lisa, from Trifecta kennels, suggested the dual unit of an electric collar, named dogtra. We ordered the collar thru Lisa- and received instructions and help with the training –all because we bought the collar from them! Now the dogs are free to run or walk with us.

When we encounter other animals, the dogs obey us, and do not pull us, or strain at their leashes. If they are off lead- we simply call them to us.

Only RARELY do we have to activate the transmitter to reinforce our commands. Christopher is still a bit of a puppy, and can be rambunctious, especially when we have company. When this happens we simply put his collar on and he immediately settles down-the funny thing is, we do not even have to turn it on.

Just wearing the collar, reminds him to behave!!!!! We love it. It has been a year since we purchased the collar and it has been the single best investment we have made for the dogs and ourselves. We go to the parks and other open fields with complete confidence that the dogs, who are sporting dogs, can exercise to their hearts content. Thank you ever so much Lisa and Grace!!! I love my Dogtra Electric training collar!

Barclay, my energetic herding dog needs to run.

He physically needs to burn off his energy.  I was reluctant to buy the collar, and waited a very long time-like 8months, while other people in class were so pleased with them.

Anyway... I love the collar. I love the freedom and safety it affords us.

Its like having a leash that's a mile long. Now when we go for walks at the park Barclay is always free to run, and he does.  But he does not chase wildlife, or bother others on the trails.

I am so glad we finally got the collar. I should have done it 8 months ago!!!
