Fun!

We have had the satisfaction of watching the business grow over the past 16 years. Almost every single day has been a “fun” one for us.

How many people can really say that they love what they do, even after 16 years? We can.

And because the business has done so well, we can turn our attention to other “fun” activities.

We will be offering the park for use as doggie birthday party grounds starting in May of 04.

Andrew and June Garrintino of the Barking bones Deli, will be doing the doggie birthday cakes. We have attended 2 such parties, and the dogs as well as the humans had a ball!

Let us help you with your doggie birthday party- we can supply the grounds, the cake, and playmates, if the dog is a regular day care dog. If the dog is not a day care dog, but attends our monthly parties, we can invite his or her buddies from those occasions. Or, owners may have a list of playmates they wish to invite. The only criteria for partygoers are that all dogs must enjoy the company of other dogs.

We will continue to offer our popular monthly theme parties that we started last year. The 2004 Easter party was such a hit; we had to park cars on the road. The photos of that party do not depict the laughter and silliness that was rampant that evening. Owners and dogs were racing around trying to find the ‘hidden treats”, the hot dog game was popular, and no one passed the pop dog quiz!!

We will have an “Arts and Crafts” party in June. A local craftswoman will be on hand to help us all make garden stones of our dog’s footprint. These particular stones are beautiful.

In July we have a “sock hop” planned. Canine dance will be demonstrated, and all partiers are encouraged to try this fun activity. We will teach the moves, supply the music, and get everybody, dogs and humans dancing the night away. Lisa’s retired field trial dog, “Striker” is really good, and may show off new parts of their routine.

FUN- it is what we are about, what we are after, and what we want to pass on to our friends and customers. There is a whole bunch of dog stuff we can do that is just plain FUN.
